Naughtily catching the band off guard, SUPERSWEET spoke to the post-punk act O.Children and quizzed them about their favourite videos. While stumped at first, they quickly fired out their devotion to YouTube live performances readily reincarnating old school greats for 21st century entertainment. Fronting the murmured requests in the background, leather-clad vocalist Tobias O’Kandi unexpectedly admits controversial loyalty to Mussolini, but before you choke in gasping surprise in his love for a dictator, it’s only in the namesake track of 80’s artist D.A.F! Placing any confusion aside, O.Children remind us of some classic enduring bands that undoubtedly echo in their haunting new-wave sound, they even squeezed in some Daft Punk; and honestly, who would shun water aerobics on land?
