We visit places and try to make sense of them. Itineraries, must sees, landmarks, tourist trails: crisply rendered with the biggest lens available. In spite of these attempts, what we remember are the half lights and half understood insights into unfamiliar terrains. Lo-fi technology is oddly honest. In blurry Polaroid and grainy Holga images, Lo Fi NY is a collection of visual anecdotes; told from the outside by Pavla Kopecna during a brief encounter with New York.
